TI-Kenya has today joined Kenyans in mourning Bishop Cornelius Korir of the Catholic Diocese of Eldoret.

In the message shared through its official twitter handle @tikenya, TI-Kenya noted that Bishop Korir was instrumental in supporting its activities in the North Rift region.

“We are saddened by the news of the passing on of our friend Bishop Korir. He supported our work in the North Rift Region and hosted our ALAC office in Eldoret. May he RIP.” Read the tweet.

Regarded by many as the “peacemaker”, he spearheaded several peace initiatives and championed for good governance.

TI -Kenya’s Advocacy and Legal Advice Centre (ALAC) Eldoret Office is hosted by the Catholic Diocese of Eldoret.
